LTSP PACKAGES
3. Packages
Technically you need four packages if you want to run LTSP in graphic mode. The best idea is to keep you uptodate about the latest development of LTSP. As the project is constantly moving, it will be restricting you from what have been fixed in previous versions of LTSP. I will point you directly to the source page for Download.
Get the latest version of LTSP and continue with the rest of the documentation. Bear in mind that this documentation complies to LTSP-3.0. There has been a tramendous amount of changes in the latest versions starting with LTSP-4.0.
The main packages are:
- ltsp_core-3.0.9-0.i386.rpm
- ltsp_x_core-3.0.4-0.i386.rpm
- ltsp_x_fonts-3.0.0-0.i386.rpm
- ltsp_kernel-3.0.5-0-i386.rpm
It will be a good idea to include the following application packages:
- ltsp_local_apps-3.0.0-0.i386.rpm
- ltsp_local_netscape-3.0.0-0.i386.rpm
